The Mining of Self was created during a period of profound growth, change and personal darkness. At a time when my life felt upside down and falling apart, I found myself questioning everything I thought I knew and wanted and began the work of looking inward. This artwork is a reflection of the understanding that self discovery is rarely comfortable. It asks us to sit with uncertainty, to face our shadows, and uncover the parts of ourselves we may have forgotten. Past the ego and vanity to our true magic self.

This limited edition print was made from an original painting done with ink and pencil on paper.
